Chula Vista
Chula Vista, with a population approaching 225,000, is the county’s second largest city. Located seven miles south of downtown San Diego and seven miles north of the world’s busiest international border crossing. From a scenic bay front that stretches along the coast to the master-planned communities and majestic San Miguel Mountain in the east, Chula Vista is a powerhouse of residential design and environmental innovation. East Lake

The city is a very popular tourist destination for San Diegans, other Americans, and International visitors alike. The small island resort prides itself on its small town atmosphere with an often uptown social environment. This city is home to three famous resorts (Hotel Del Coronado, Coronado Island Marriott and Loews Coronado Bay Resort as well as several other hotels and inns.
Imperial Beach
Swim, surf, sunbathe, jog, fish, or spend the day building a sandcastle at Imperial Beach, the most southwesterly community in the U.S. This beautiful, sandy beach is a great place to visit for some much-needed relaxation away from the crowds. Quiet, solitary, and still a bit of a hippie community, Imperial Beach is 20 miles south of downtown San Diego and a few miles short of the Mexican border.
